Job Context:
∎ The incumbent will oversee and supervise the organizations payroll functions, ensuring payroll procedures are compliant, efficient and current and in comply with the company’s rules and regulations. The individual will be responsible for evaluating and making recommendations on compensation strategies to attract and retain talent for the company.
∎ The ideal candidate will be capable in analytical and methodical with experience in payroll administration and deep knowledge of payroll regulations and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
∎ Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
∎ Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
∎ Maintain confidentiality of work-related issues, records and company information.
∎ Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
∎ Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedures.
∎ OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Develop systems to process payroll account transactions (e.g. salaries, benefits, deductions, taxes and third party payments).
∎ Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.
∎ Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
∎ Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
∎ Maintain attendance & leave records of all employees.
∎ Maintain salary file of employees including all break- ups and also perform in tax calculation of all eligible employees in collaboration with TAX Dept.
∎ Prepare audit file of salary provided each month.
∎ Preparation and reconciliation of payment summaries and submit to management as required.
∎ Ensure receipt of all supporting documents related to Full & Final Settlement.
∎ Process monthly salary sheet for H/O and also collaborate with factory HR Associates to prepare factory salary sheet accurately and on timely manner.
∎ SUPERVISORY/ PEOPLE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Supervises team by communicating job expectations, appraising job results and maintain discipline within the team.
∎ Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
∎ Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
∎ TEAM LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT:
∎ Assess learning & development need of the team.
∎ Guide and motivate the Associates under the division in order to ensure the maximum output from the associates.
∎ STRATEGIC WORK:
∎ To achieve short term and long term goal of the organization.
∎ Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for submitting to the departmental head.
∎ Analyze previous date to assess future requirements in each quarter thus communicate with recruitment team to create a talent pool fulfilling the future requirements.
∎ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

∎ Minimum 06 years of experience in a similar position in any large conglomerate or multinational company.
∎ Good command over computer, especially in MS Office / Internet & Email systems
∎ Must be intelligent, hardworking and dedicated with the fitness to work long hours.
∎ Should be dynamic, ability to manage team and have Excellent Leadership Quality with Interpersonal and excellent Communication Skills.
∎ Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
