Job Context:
∎ Sr. Merchandiser / Merchandiser for an International Sourcing Company
∎ Full Time
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Take full responsibility from the time an order is received from the Office. Follow-up order independently from development to shipment with highest level of accuracy
∎ Follow up the order by using the Order Follow-up System and use deadlines as a help to keep track of order status
∎ Work closely with suppliers to ensure smooth supply chain of fabric, trims, print, AOP, embellishment, and timely production and final inspection/delivery
∎ Work closely with production, quality control /QA team to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to the final stage and ensure the best final product
∎ Visit to factories as per schedule to ensure all the garments are produced as per buyer's requirement
∎ Prepare buyer & factory T&A plans and be able to oversee sampling, production, quality and ensure all orders are shipped on time with the right quality
∎ Coordinate with production, CSR, QA, Logistic & other related departments
∎ Maintain a smooth communication with customers/Buyers from sampling to shipment and update everyday
∎ Prepare cost sheet for each product, review production tech pack, identify the new materials, clarify the discrepancy and arrange missing color standard for each key account as per requirement
∎ Ensure smooth production and shipment on time
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 35 years
∎ Must have job experience in Knit as Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser in any reputed buying house
∎ Self-motivated; good communication and interpersonal skills; negotiation and decision-making skills
∎ Good command over written, spoken English
∎ Short course on Costing and budgeting on apparels merchandising (Knit & woven items) will get preference
∎ BGMEA University of Fashion Technology students will get preference
∎ Skills Required: Expert on Knit and woven garments costing
Salary: Negotiable
