∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and direct quality assurance ofgoods produced in the factories and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices and other qualityrelated policies in order to meet product quality standards.
∎ Establish priorities and ensure maximum usage of assigned resources to meet the production schedule.
∎ Assist in investigatingandcorrecting qualityrelatedissues (including customer complaints) through collaboration with other departments.
∎ Makeproactive recommendations and offering/presenting solutions to the Quality Systems to improve quality of the products and work efficiency of the technicians.
∎ Direct inspections/audit activities commensurate to production schedules.
∎ Develop monthly reports showing inspection and audit performance and improvement opportunities. Also, evaluate and recommend alternative inspection procedures for continuous improvement.
∎ Stay up-to-date on latest technology for highest quality, ensure effective follow up, coordination, liaison between merchandisers and factories.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 (five) years of work experience asquality assurancetechnician in apparel industry and at least 2 (two) years ofexperience in a supervisory capacity.
∎ Should have experience in serving at reputed Buying House/Factory.
∎ Must have appropriate knowledge on quality of Knit, Woven, Sweater and Home Tex apparels.
∎ Must have excellent communication skill on both spoken and written English.
∎ Capable of leading a team of QCs.
∎ Basic computer knowledge(Microsoft Officeapplications)and computer-based applications.
∎ Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs, ability to lead others through change.
∎ Ability to handle multiple taskssimultaneously.
∎ Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlinesand make effective decisions.
∎ A good knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and testing methods for quality assurance of apparel products.
