Responsibilities & Context:
- Product development and be able to interpret design sketches.
- Experience in Pattern cutting and pattern correction manually and or CAD.
- Fabric Consumption calculation through manually and CAD.
- Provide direction and technical expertise for the technical team during fitting & sealing.
- Ensure that the teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across all brands and departments.
- Drive for perfection in terms of quality of the product and processes.
- Systematic problem solving and continuous improvement drive at all levels of the organization.
- Provide technical training to teams when required and serve as a technical mentor to team members.
- Manage the critical path in each department.
- Able to guide the team through the development, testing and implementation stages and review the completed work effectively.
- Ensure that the teams follow the correct procedures, policies and documentation requirements across all brands and departments.
- Able to make quick decisions and solve technical problems to provide an efficient environment.
- Maintain a regular and flawless communication with buyers.
- Establish, coach, and guide the factory team on a standard QMS (Quality management System).
- Drive for perfection in terms of quality of the product and processes.
- Emphasize on in-built quality across the organization rather than traditional check point method.
