Responsibilities & Context:
Sound knowledge on environment act 1995, ECR 1997, 2023 amendments, health & safety Management, brand CoC and international environmental standard like, Higg FEM v4.0, H&M Supplier portal, SLCP, BWB etc.
Sound knowledge to set a comprehensive long term goal setting with achievement strategy. Conduct regular review meeting and training to the environmental stakeholder.
Ensure proper chemical storage, labeling, secondary containment, and safe use.
Ensure Environment and chemical compliance of the internal activities according to the environment and chemical code of practice in Textile industry.
Ensure environmental health and safety requirements (chemicals)To collect all compliance certificate and guarantee letter/ certificates from chemical suppliers.
Conduct internal environmental compliance audit, ETP assessment and implement environmental impact reduction activities.
Conduct Internal environmental and Chemical Audit as per Code of Conduct to meet compliance and identify improvement area accordingly on regular basis against the NC and follow up the same with line managers of all departments to ensure that the expected compliance.
Monitor and evaluate the environmental parameters as per DOE Standards & ECR-1997, 2023 & Buyer CoC. Ensure result oriented Corrective Action Plan for audit findings.
Monitor the water consumption, energy consumption, wastewater consumption, waste generation. Track data and compare with baseline and reduce consumption as per set target.
Monitor ETP Performance and liaison with the Department of Environment (DOE) on a regular basis to update Environment Clearance of Factory.
Require vast knowledge on GTW, CFW for Buyer. Analyze MSDS with CAS, GHS pictogram, cross-check CAS in ZDHC MRSL and make sure that chemical and out of 11 priorities banned and restricted groups; Ensure MSDS, labeling in chemical store, distribution sub-store, dyeing, ETP and all relevant applicable area.
To set Higg v4.0 FEM, ISO 14001-2015 (EMS), GOTS, OCS, RCS, GRS, GTW, STEP, STeP by Oekotex, Oekotex 100, Supplier Portal, Detox, Clean-Chain, ZDHC gateway, DoE portal, BVE3 & others environmental issues.
Face all types of environmental audit, report writing, environmental data management, CAP reply and ensure supplier monitoring.
To implement EMS, EIA, EMP, CMP (Chemical Management Plan).
Any other task assigns by management.
