Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Prior experience in knit garments merchandising is preferred.
∎ Strong understanding of the knitwear production process is essential.
∎ Experience working with Armani buyer will be considered an added advantage.
∎ Excellent knowledge of costing for knit garments is mandatory.
∎ Strong communication and negotiation skills.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
∎ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Follow up all kinds of sample developments and production with a high degree of personal responsibility.
∎ Communicate with buyers to collect proto/development sample comments.
∎ Work closely with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to source Yarn/Fabrics/trims/accessories as per the required standard.
∎ Take trims and accessories approval from customers.
∎ Coordinate with factories on lab dips, yarn booking, knitting, and proto submissions based on set timelines.
∎ Arrange PP (Pre-Production) sample accessories and proceed with PP samples based on buyer comments.
∎ Book yarn, accessories, and fabric as required.
∎ Follow up with suppliers for timely in-house delivery of trims and accessories according to the TNA (Time & Action) plan.
∎ Monitor production progress as per the approved T&A.
∎ Ensure effective communication with buyers and suppliers for all merchandising activities and approvals.
∎ Participate and arrange PP meetings.
∎ Follow Up Bulk Production to ensure timely shipment.
∎ Must have sound knowledge of garment costing and pricing strategies.
∎ Attend weekly team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
∎ Maintain regular communication with clients over phone and email to ensure smooth operations and relationship building.
