Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 07 years of relevant experience in garment manufacturing, with substantial experience in suits, blazers, formal wear, or tailored garments.
Proven experience in managing large-scale production operations.
Strong technical knowledge of tailored garment manufacturing and production processes.
Experience in production planning, capacity management, line balancing, productivity improvement, and cost control.
Strong leadership, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good Computer Knowledge.
The Head of Production will be responsible for planning, managing, and controlling all production operations at the Suits & Blazers Factory. The position will ensure timely production and delivery of high-quality garments in line with approved samples, buyer requirements, production plans, cost targets, and company standards.
To lead and manage the overall production operations of the Suits & Blazers Factory.
To develop and execute production plans to achieve shipment targets within the agreed timeline.
To ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and production capacity.
To monitor daily production performance against planned targets and take immediate corrective action when required.
Ensure production is carried out in accordance with approved samples, Tech Packs, specifications, construction details, and buyer requirements.
Control production processes from cutting through sewing, pressing, finishing, and packing.
Improve production efficiency, productivity, and line performance through effective Industrial Engineering practices.
Monitor and minimize production losses, rework, alteration, rejection, overtime, and unnecessary material consumption.
Ensure proper implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production standards.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement timely solutions to maintain continuous workflow.
Ensure proper handling of critical operations in tailored garments, including fusing, canvas/interlining, collar and lapel construction, sleeve setting, pocket construction, buttonholes, pressing, and finishing.
Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly production performance reports to senior management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, reduce production costs, and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable labor requirements, workplace safety standards, and buyer requirements.
