Responsibilities & Context:
The Cutting Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the cutting department. This includes managing the cutting process, ensuring efficient use of materials, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of cutting staff. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in textile cutting operations and a strong understanding of production workflows.
To collect cutting plan from the planning section and divide into Machine Cut & Manual cut section.
Handover the cutting plan to respective supervisors for manual cut & machine cut and follow up.
Should have proper understanding of Line WIP (Waiting in Process).
Prepare for next day sewing line input requirements.
To confirm fabric from other department and fabric relaxation as per buyer requirement for next day cutting.
Collect trim card, file, and sample for next day cutting.
Follow up cut panel printing & embroidery etc.
To follow up panel rejection, after printing & embroidery rejection replacement and also maintain the rejection register every day.
To check the cutting progress as per cutting plan
To monitor fusing, interlining, collar & cuff work closely.
Follow up cutting shortage and if needed filling-up before sewing finish in line.
If there is any excess/short fabric that must be informed after 1" cutting of respective styles.
Responsible for quality controlling & DHU minimizing at less 5%.
Ensure to maintain the Cutting management SOP.
Keep SAP Software updated by giving related information regarding receive & issue accessories and prepare various types of Inventory report.
To follow up Super shop (cutting store) activities.
Prepare and maintain daily/monthly production report & keep the record file.
