Fire Safety Manager Course
Fire Science & Occupational Safety Course
Deep technical knowledge of automated fire detection systems, addressable fire alarm systems, and fire suppression systems.
Thorough understanding of local labor laws, fire safety laws, and global compliance frameworks (RSC, Accord, Alliance standards).
Strong leadership, crisis management, and decision-making skills under high-pressure scenarios.
Excellent communication skills for training workers and presenting to top management/auditors.
Fire Prevention & System Maintenance
Oversee the routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of all fire detection and protection systems, including fire hydrants, sprinkler systems, smoke/heat detectors, fire alarms, and fire extinguishers.
Ensure the seamless operation of the central fire pump house and water reservoirs.
Manage a dedicated team of Fire Officers, Supervisors, and Firefighters, ensuring optimal shift scheduling for 24/7 coverage.
Emergency Preparedness & Response
Design, update, and implement the factory’s Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and Disaster Management Plan.
Organize and execute regular, unannounced fire drills, evacuation drills, and rescue simulations for all factory floors and shifts.
Form, train, and maintain an active internal Fire Fighting & Rescue Team and First Aid team from among the general workforce.
Act as the incident commander in the event of any fire or safety emergency.
Regulatory Compliance & Audits
Ensure absolute compliance with national fire safety laws (e.g., Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Act) and local building codes.
Prepare the facility for, and successfully navigate, international buyer audits and third-party safety assessments.
Maintain updated fire licenses, NOCs, and insurance documentation related to fire safety.
Risk Assessment & EHS Integration
Conduct routine fire risk assessments (FRA) across spinning, weaving, dyeing, printing, and garments sections.
Identify potential fire hazards (e.g., dust accumulation in blow rooms, chemical storage issues, electrical short circuits) and enforce corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure safe execution of "Hot Work" permits (welding, cutting, etc.).
Training & Culture Building
Develop and deliver mandatory fire safety orientation for all new hires, as well as specialized training for supervisors and line managers.
Foster a proactive culture of safety awareness across the entire workforce.
