• Must have sound understanding of the sample development process: Sewing, Seam Sealing, Down Calculation, CWS (Construction without sewing), Real down, Fake down, Padded, and other heavy Outerwear.
• Must have technical understanding of pattern, marker, and surface applications (e.g., heat transfer, embroideries, screen-printing, etc.).
• Must have experience in working in buying houses… strong capacity in souring factory, fabric, and price negotiation with factory and fabric mills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships and work as a team.
• Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic.
• Strong presentation and delivery skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection.
• Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English.
• Should be proactive and dynamic, with the ability to work hard and efficiently.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines.

• Independently execute Outerwear product development, understand the latest fashion trends, source new fabrics, and develop customer-specific collections.
• Ensure smooth communications with customers and suppliers on day-to-day merchandising activities and approvals.
• Continuously update the fabrics, trims, print embroideries, washes, and stitch library including technical data and price ideas for easy reference.
• Understand customer requirements and closely work with the design team to manage the correct samples within time and quality.
• Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress toward goals, and track details, data, information, and activities.
• Ensure production and samples follow-up with factories and related procedures.
• Communicate with buyers on day-to-day merchandising activities and approvals.
• Prepare the QA files for on-time handover for both buyer and QA. Source trims, accessories, and fabrics (both overseas and local).
• Prepare costing sheets with all the necessary breakdowns from factories.
• Arrange lab dip, trims, bulk fabric color, and quality testing for customer approval.
• Work closely with the fabric mills and suppliers ahead of design packs to develop new fabrics and finishes to reduce lead time.
• Follow-up TNA regularly to ensure on-time delivery with the right quality and quantity.
• Visit factories regularly to get market intelligence.
• Coordinate and monitor the quality of the product through quality personnel.
• Place forwarder booking through logistics and monitor the shipment of the products.
• Understand ethical behavior and business practices and ensure own behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these standards and align with the values of the organization.
