∎ 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or customs compliance, with specific experience in managing DDP shipments.
∎ Strong understanding of international trade laws, customs regulations, and import/export documentation.
∎ Proven track record in managing end-to-end logistics operations and ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee customs clearance processes for goods entering various countries under DDP terms.
∎ Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tax laws, and import/export documentation requirements.
∎ Monitor changes in customs regulations and update processes accordingly.
∎ Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
∎ Manage and optimize shipping routes, timelines, and methods to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
∎ Maintain relationships with global logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
∎ Calculate and oversee payment of duties, taxes, and other customs-related fees for all DDP shipments.
∎ Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control for DDP transactions.
∎ Manage invoicing processes related to DDP transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
∎ Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and customers regarding DDP shipments.
∎ Communicate expected delivery timelines, customs updates, and cost implications.
∎ Develop and implement best practices for DDP processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
∎ Train internal teams on DDP processes, including customs regulations and documentation.
∎ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to DDP operations, such as delivery times, costs, and compliance rates.
∎ Prepare reports for senior management, highlighting trends, challenges, and improvement areas.
