Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Production Planning/Engineering or a relevant field of study from a reputed University
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Establish, coach and guide the factory on all work related to Planning aligned to organizations policy deployment.
∎ Coordination with front end teams on fulfilling the plant profitably and capacity planning.
∎ Focus on effective production planning based on product families, chassis and silhouettes, repeatability and feasibility.
∎ Head the PCU team which is fully designed to eradicate external disturbances by ensuring on time material availability, critical monitoring of each customer order at all gates on daily basis and surface the abnormalities where it can be solved at the right time by the right person and eventually maintain perfect OTP.
∎ Establish ways to measure performance at each key transition points, frequent reviews, analyze problems, brainstorm, develop countermeasures, implement actions and continuously improve the standard.
∎ Systematic problem solving and continuous improvement drive at all levels of the organization.
∎ Create a culture of in-built quality and meet all key performance indicators such as capacity fulfillment, profitable planning of budgeted SAH and OTP.
∎ Manage the operations with utmost adherence to the local and international compliance requirements, prominence to safety and mutual respect at all levels.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience in managing a sizable apparel factory as a Planning Manager
∎ Solid experience in the field of capacity planning, production planning, material planning, inventory management, logistics and supply chain management.
∎ Hands on experience in ERP systems and electronic planning tool
∎ Strong leadership with sound communication skills and exposure to lean manufacturing
