Core Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Research global trends, select colors/fabrics, create sketches (CAD), and develop prototypes, tech packs, and seasonal collections.

• Production & Technical Skills: Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing. Oversee sample garment creation and conduct fit sessions to adjust for construction and sizing.

• Sourcing & Collaboration: Select and source fabrics, trims, and embellishments. Collaborate with merchandisers and marketers to meet buyer demands and budget requirements.

• Trend Analysis: Monitor competitor products and attend trade shows to anticipate consumer preferences.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in CAD software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and garment construction knowledge.

• Industry Expertise: Understanding of textile properties, manufacturing limitations, and production costing.

• Communication: Ability to work with international buyers, suppliers, and internal production teams.
