Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise and manage the field level investigation officials to ensure the qualitative Investigation activities.
∎ Provide necessary instruction and guide to collect information, interview process of concern persons and prepare the investigation report properly.
∎ Conduct investigation activities directly with complex issues when required, prepare qualitative investigation report and submit to senior leadership with proper analysis.
∎ Work with the senior leadership to plan for the investigation strategy and grievance management. Around 200 complains each year.
∎ Analyze all documentation before ombudsperson hearing, communicate with field team and prepare meeting with the staffs who come to attended on the hearing.
∎ Beside All recommendation from Ombudsperson, sharing with the senior operations team and make a reply to the ombudsperson as per senior management’s recommendation.
∎ Build effective collaboration within the unit to ensure a supportive working environment for ensuring best complains & service support to the program.
∎ Identify, analyze and interpret the trend of compliance culture of the program. and suggest appropriate measures for risk minimization.
∎ Ensure effective coordination to organize & manage the internal grievance forum (MF Review committee) based on investigation reports and assist senior leadership to take appropriate decision in those forums.
∎ Ensure proper coordination with BRAC Grievance Management Team & Ombudsperson office as a representative of Microfinance program.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

∎ Job Purpose
