Education: - Master of Business Administration (MBA) in HRM
- Master of Law (LLM)
- LLM/ PGDHRM will be preferred.
Requirements: Skills Required: Additional Requirements: - Experience: 7-10 years’ experience, preferably in the garment accessories industry (e.g., metal buttons, zippers, trims) or related manufacturing sectors.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge and efficiency in MS Office & Proficiency in Bengali and English languages
Responsibilities & Context: Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, employment history, and compliance-related documents.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires and ensure a smooth transition for employees leaving the organization.
- Monitor employee attendance, track leave balances, and process leave applications according to company policy.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
- Maintain and update HR software, databases, and other tools used for employee management and record-keeping.
Compliance and Legal Obligations
- Stay informed about current labor laws, regulations, standards, ensuring the company remains compliant with all employment laws and regulations.
- Conduct periodic internal audits of HR practices to verify compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
- Ensure that employee records and HR documentation meet regulatory and legal standards for data privacy and retention.
- Assist in developing and reviewing company policies to ensure they are legally compliant and align with current best practices.
- Address employee grievances and complaints in line with legal and organizational procedures, ensuring fair and compliant resolution.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to relevant authorities, documenting compliance activities and any areas for improvement.
Employee Health and Safety Compliance
- Organize health and safety training sessions to educate employees on workplace safety protocols.
Employee Relations and Ethics
- Ensure employees understand and adhere to the organization’s code of conduct and ethics.
- Administer disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies, labor laws, and ethical standards.
- Ensure all employees are trained on anti-harassment and discrimination policies and manage any related issues confidentially and compliantly.
Training and Development Compliance
- Conduct or organize compliance training for employees, covering relevant policies and legal obligations.
- Track and document employee participation in mandatory training sessions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
