Experience:
- 7–10 years of proven experience in store or warehouse management, preferably in the garment accessories industry (e.g., metal buttons, zippers, trims) or related manufacturing sectors.
- Experience in stock management, including inward and outward material movement, as well as store documentation.
Additional Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with ERP and inventory management software.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- High integrity, reliability, and accountability.
- Good communication skills in both Bangla and English.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Good working knowledge and efficiency in MS Office
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory control methods such as FIFO (First In, First Out), LIFO (Last In, First Out), and batch/lot tracking.
- Familiarity with material quality standards for metal buttons, including rust-free storage, moisture control, and packaging requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP systems, and barcode/scanning systems.
- A solid understanding of safety, compliance, and audit requirements related to store operations.
Responsibilities & Context:
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the receiving, storage, and issuance of raw materials.
Maintain accurate stock records to prevent shortages and overstocking.
Implement proper labeling, binning, and stacking systems for easy traceability.
Coordinate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure a smooth supply flow.
Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile findings with system records.
Maintain 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, standardise, Sustain), along with safety and cleanliness in the store area.
