Solid understanding of supply chain operations, including planning, inventory management, and logistics coordination, is required.
Responsibilities & Context:
Support the Line Manager in executing the S&OP process across RSPB to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and operational priorities.
Coordinate with marketing to update sales forecast and delivery requirements.
Monitor daily and weekly production schedules and ensure alignment with forecasted demand.
Work with Procurement and commercial team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and other key inputs.
Support the implementation of inventory optimization practices and minimize stock-outs or excesses.
Serve as a link between Marketing, Procurement, Production, and Logistics teams.
Optimize production capacity based on RM availability.
Ensure effective capacity utilization keeping Inventory and WIP at the agreed level.
Assist in resolving day-to-day operational issues impacting production or delivery.
Identify capacity constraints and suggest measures for improvements.
Continuously improve planning knowledge and skills.
Generate departmental report timely as per requirements.
Ensure continual improvement of work process/system and development of self.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety, and quality standards.
