Responsibilities & Context:

Strategic Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory planning, control, and optimization across all group entities.

• Maintain accurate stock records, monitor stock movements, and prevent shortages or excess.

• Implement and maintain ERP/WMS systems for effective inventory tracking and reporting.

• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of inventory with financial records.

Warehouse & Logistics Operations Oversight:

• Supervise warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials. Also oversee & make viable daily & weekly logistics plan.

• Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and space utilization. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and security standards in all warehouses.

• Implement best practices to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Process, Compliance & Governance :

• Ensure adherence to internal policies, SOPs, and statutory regulations.

• Monitor and manage risk related to inventory and warehouse operations.

• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate reports and documentation.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management and warehouse operations.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor inventory and warehouse teams across all locations.

• Allocate responsibilities, set performance goals, and conduct periodic performance reviews.

• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, accuracy, and operational excellence.

Reporting & MIS :

• Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, variances, stock movements, and operational KPIs.

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Head of Supply Chain for decisionmaking.

• Ensure accurate documentation for all inventory transactions, adjustments, and transfers.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management :

• Liaise with procurement, production, finance, and logistics teams for seamless material flow.

• Coordinate with suppliers and transporters for timely receipt and dispatch of goods. • Serve as a key point of contact for inventory-related issues across the group.
