Experience:
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in export sales or international business, preferably in Solar, Renewable energy, Electrical products or Engineering industries.
Experience in Export sales, with a focus on Solar Energy or Electrical & Electronics products.
Strong knowledge of Solar PV products, global market dynamics and export procedures.
Hands-on experience with LC, export documentation and international trade regulations.
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Proven track record in international B2B sales and managing overseas partners.
Sound understanding of LC, shipping documents, INCOTERMS and export regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.Willingness to travel internationally.
Ability to travel internationally as required.
The Manager, Export will lead and drive sales growth for solar products in both local and global markets. This role focuses heavily on export sales, including identifying international business opportunities, managing overseas clients, ensuring regulatory compliance, and expanding the company’s footprint across targeted regions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in international trade, solar/renewable energy solutions, and end-to-end export operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead export sales initiatives to expand business in targeted international markets.
Identify, onboard and manage overseas distributors, agents, and channel partners.
Conduct international market research on demand, pricing, regulations, and competition.
Prepare export proposals, quotations, and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
Maintain strong relationships with foreign clients and ensure effective post-sales coordination.
Represent the company at international exhibitions, B2B events, and trade missions.
Oversee end-to-end export operations including LC handling, INCOTERMS, shipping documentation, and coordination with logistics partners.
Ensure accuracy of export documents and compliance with Bangladesh export laws and destination-country regulations.
Ensure compliance with international quality standards, certifications, and trade requirements.
Monitor export risks related to payments, logistics, and regulatory changes.
Prepare export sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management.
Coordinate with production, supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Provide market and customer feedback to product development teams to support continuous improvement.
