Responsibilities & Context:
  • To lead and supervise warehouse personnel and inventory staff.

  • To plan, organize and supervise all inventory and warehouse operations.

  • To maintain accurate records of raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-progress (WIP), finished goods, spare parts and consumables.

  • To monitor inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production while minimizing excess stock.

  • To develop and implement inventory control procedures to improve inventory accuracy and reduce losses.

  • To conduct periodic stock counts, cycle counts and annual physical inventory verification.

  • To coordinate with Procurement, Production, Quality Assurance, Sales and Finance departments for smooth inventory movement.

  • To ensure timely receipt, storage, issuance and dispatch of materials.

  • To maintain FIFO/LIFO practices where applicable, especially for chemicals and shelf-life-controlled materials.

  • To ensure proper storage conditions for hazardous chemicals and plastic raw materials in compliance with safety regulations.

  • To generate inventory reports, stock aging reports, slow-moving inventory reports.

  • To optimize warehouse space utilization and material handling processes.

  • To ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards and environmental, health and safety (EHS) regulations.

  • To drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and inventory accuracy.
