Job Summary :The Manager / Deputy Manager – Supply Chain & Local Procurement will be responsible for managing local procurement, supplier development, sourcing strategy, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for smooth garment manufacturing operations. The position requires strong expertise in supply chain management, local sourcing, vendor negotiation, and procurement practices within the garments manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective local procurement strategies in line with organizational objectives.

  • Manage end-to-end local procurement processes including sourcing, supplier selection, quotation evaluation, negotiation, purchase order processing, and delivery follow-up.

  • Source and develop reliable local suppliers for spears for machineries, electrical equipments, steel components for construction.

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate vendor performance regularly.

  • Conduct market analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and alternative sourcing options.

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and approval processes.

  • Monitor inventory requirements and support efficient inventory planning.

  • Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance reports, cost analysis, and management updates.

  • Maintain proper documentation and records of procurement activities.
