Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with imported product suppliers to ensure a sustainable and competitive product assortment.
Conduct periodic market surveys to monitor competitor pricing, product availability, and market trends, and implement appropriate pricing strategies to maintain market competitiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely procurement, pricing accuracy, and successful product launches
Identify revenue optimization opportunities through developing new products, better sourcing, better margin or through building better promotional deals..
Ensure target margin form suppliers through negotiating deals and increase margin based on yearly finance targets.
Develop reports and insights on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure product efficiency (lifting vs sales).
Identify problems and assist the procurement team to achieve the team targets.
Ensure right pricing of products through regular market price monitoring.
