Job Summary
Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Centre Ltd. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Intern – Inventory & Asset Management to support day-to-day inventory control, asset documentation, physical verification, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
Job Responsibilities
Assist in maintaining and updating inventory records and inventory databases.
Support inventory receiving, issuing, transfer, and adjustment processes.
Assist in conducting periodic physical stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
Maintain proper documentation for inventory movement and transactions.
Assist in asset tagging, identification, and record maintenance.
Support updating and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register and Asset Master Data.
Assist in periodic physical verification and reconciliation of organizational assets.
Identify and report discrepancies between physical inventory/assets and system records.
Assist in preparing inventory and asset-related reports using MS Excel.
Coordinate with relevant departments regarding inventory and asset-related information.
Support proper filing and documentation for internal control and audit purposes.
Assist in maintaining records of asset transfers, movements, disposals, and adjustments.
Perform other inventory and asset management-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor/management.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in:
Accounting
Finance
Supply Chain Management
Business Administration
Management
Or any other relevant discipline.
Fresh graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements
Basic knowledge of inventory and asset management.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Good numerical and analytical ability.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain proper documentation and records.
Willingness to learn and work in a structured healthcare environment.
Ability to work effectively with different departments.
