Experience:
Oversee all material storage facilities, including Yarn Store, Dyes & Chemical Store, Fabric Store (Greige & Finished), Accessories/Trims Store, and Finished Goods Warehouse.
Optimize warehouse layout, racking systems, and material flow to maximize floor capacity and streamline internal handling.
Maintain strict adherence to hazardous chemical storage regulations.
Enforce 100% material traceability from yarn receipt through knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing, and finished packing.
Implement strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) protocols, particularly for chemicals, dyes, and sensitive accessories.
Conduct regular physical stock audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation against ERP system balances to ensure zero inventory discrepancies.
Monitor dead stock, slow-moving items, and excess trims/yarn; work with Management and Commercial teams for timely liquidations.
Ensure swift receiving, inspection, GRN (Goods Received Note) generation, and binning of incoming raw materials (yarn, dyes, fabrics, trims).
Streamline the material issuance process to Knitting, Dyeing, Cutting, and Sewing units based on Requisitions (MRNs) and Rejection Slips without delaying production line schedules.
Coordinate with Export/Import, Shipping, and Quality departments for error-free container loading and finished goods shipment dispatch.
Lead the implementation and ongoing utilization of ERP / Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Drive digital tracking tools such as Barcode / RFID systems for fabric roll management, box labeling, and bin location tracking.
Set up automated reorder alerts for high-consumption indirect materials, spare parts, and packaging supplies.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Store Managers, Officers, Inventory Controllers, and Support Staff.
Enforce strict 5S workplace organization, hygiene, and safety protocols across all store locations.
Implement security controls, restricted area access, and CCTV surveillance oversight to prevent shrinkage, loss, or unauthorized material removal.
Manage material handling equipment (MHE) maintenance (forklifts, stackers, hand pallet trucks) to ensure operational safety.
