Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities and Duties

1. Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement HR and administrative strategies aligned with the organization’s overall goals and vision.

Advise senior management on human resources trends, organizational structure, and workforce planning.

Lead organizational change initiatives and ensure alignment between HR policies and business objectives.

 

2. Human Resources Management

Recruitment & Staffing:

Oversee the full recruitment cycle—from manpower planning to onboarding.

Ensure effective talent acquisition and succession planning.

 

Performance Management:

Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.

Support department heads in setting KPIs and employee development plans.

 

Training & Development:

Identify skill gaps and develop training programs to enhance employee competencies.

Promote a learning culture and career growth opportunities.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

Design competitive compensation structures and manage payroll processes.

Ensure compliance with statutory benefits and labor regulations.

 

Employee Relations:

Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Address grievances and disciplinary issues fairly and consistently.

Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.

 

HR Policies & Compliance:

Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

 

3. Administrative Management

Office Administration:

Oversee office management, facility maintenance, and administrative operations.

Ensure efficient use of resources and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

 

Safety, Health & Environment:

Implement and monitor workplace safety and health policies.

Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

 

Vendor & Contract Management:

Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.

Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance.

 

Travel & Logistics:

Supervise travel arrangements, logistics, and event coordination.

Ensure adherence to company travel and expense policies.

 

Asset & Facility Management:

Maintain records of company assets and oversee facility upgrades or maintenance.

Manage security, cleaning, and administrative support staff.

 

4. Reporting & Analytics

Prepare periodic HR and administrative reports for management review.

Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, absenteeism, performance trends) and recommend improvements.

Manage HR budgets and ensure cost efficiency.

 

5. Leadership & Team Development

Lead and mentor HR and administrative teams.

Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department.

Encourage diversity, inclusion, and organizational culture initiatives.

Any other duties as assigned by top management.

 

Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or related field (MBA preferred).

Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in HR & Administration, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Act, rules and administrative regulations.

Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, compensation/benefits, compliance.

Excellent interpersonal, communication (Bengali & English) and leadership skills.

Capable of working in a dynamic environment, change-oriented, strong business acumen.
