• 8–12 years of experience in finishing operations in a reputed garments factory, especially in woven bottoms/pants.

• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience as Deputy Manager or Manager.

The Finishing Deputy Manager/Manager is responsible for overseeing all finishing operations of woven bottom garments (pants, chinos, cargo, denim, etc.). This includes planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling the finishing process to ensure on-time shipment with expected quality. The role requires hands-on leadership, problem-solving ability, and strong coordination with production, quality, and merchandising teams.

• Daily Operation Management:

  • Supervise finishing floor activities including thread cutting, ironing, trimming, measurement checking, tagging, folding, packing, and final inspection.

  • Ensure production plan execution with time and quality targets.

• Quality & Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce buyer quality standards and internal SOPs.

  • Coordinate with quality and audit teams to resolve quality issues in real-time.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, 5S, and buyer audit requirements in the finishing area.

• Manpower & Team Management:

  • Lead a team of supervisors, operators, helpers, and quality inspectors.

  • Train and motivate the team to achieve productivity and quality goals.

• Process Optimization:

  • Identify bottlenecks and improve finishing line efficiency.

  • Apply lean tools and continuous improvement practices.

• Coordination & Communication:

  • Liaise with cutting, sewing, washing, and merchandising departments for smooth workflow.

  • Communicate with buyers and QA for inline and final inspections.

• Shipment Readiness:

  • Ensure goods are ready for shipment as per delivery schedule.

  • Handle buyer final inspection, sample sealing, and documentation follow-up.

Job Requirements:

• Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any relevant discipline.

• Experience:

  • 8–12 years of relevant experience in finishing operations.

  • Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory/managerial position for woven bottom products.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of finishing processes and machinery.

  • Familiarity with buyer standards (Walmart, H&M, Zara, etc.).

  • Proficiency in production planning, MIS reporting, and Excel.

• Soft Skills:

  • Leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team management.

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Preferred Candidates:

  • Those who have worked in large export-oriented woven factories.

  • Experience with ERP or production tracking systems is an added advantage.
