We are seeking a skilled and proactive professional for the role of Senior Executive – Planning (Dyeing Finishing). The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring all finishing operations to ensure smooth workflow, proper machine utilization, and on-time delivery of finished fabric as per buyer requirements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly finishing plans based on order status, capacity, and shipment schedule.
Review finishing requirements such as GSM, shrinkage, width, hand-feel, shade, and other buyer parameters before planning.
Plan the sequence of finishing processes to minimize changeover time and ensure efficient production.
Coordinate with dyeing, knitting, quality, and merchandising teams for raw fabric readiness and approval status.
Monitor WIP movement from dyeing to finishing and ensure no bottlenecks occur.
Track machine loading and ensure optimum utilization of stenter, compactor, sanfor, heat-setting, brushing, sueding, and other finishing machines.
Follow up on finishing quality parameters and ensure correct settings are applied as per buyer instructions.
Ensure proper follow-up for shade continuity, hand-feel consistency, and finishing standards.
Identify any delays or technical issues in finishing and communicate with respective departments to take corrective actions.
Maintain and update ERP records for finishing production, loading plans, and daily progress.
Prepare daily finishing performance reports, highlight challenges, and share with management.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce lead time, and minimize fabric wastage.
