Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context:
Responsible for creating innovative, market-driven apparel designs and managing the complete design process from concept to final styling for existing clients of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the design process from concept development to final styling.
- Develop seasonal designs and collections for all existing clients.
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and techniques.
- Collaborate with buyers’ designers, in-house design, R&D, and marketing teams.
- Prepare sketches, specifications, and development packages.
- Select fabrics, trims, colors, and materials suitable for production.
- Develop samples, review fit, and modify designs as required.
- Support costing, pattern, and sample development for mass production.
- Present designs and samples to management, agents, and buyers.
- Provide training to R&D, sample, and related teams and support design studio development.
- Attend fashion shows and market research activities when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
