Responsibilities & Context:

Company Overview:

We are looking for a competent and self-driven professional to lead a team to the Quality Assurance function independently.

Job Context:

  • The position is responsible for leading the entire Quality Assurance function of the assigned floor .

  • The incumbent will ensure end-to-end product quality, from cutting input to shipment.

  • The role requires independent departmental management, ensuring compliance with buyer requirements and international standards

  • Responsible for maintaining quality KPIs such as DHU, pass rate, and defect control

  • The role involves close coordination with Production, Merchandising, and IE to ensure quality excellence

  • Must be capable of handling final inspection, shipment approval, and audit requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for overall Quality Assurance department performance.

  • Lead and manage the QA team, inline, end-line, and final inspection teams

  • Ensure final inspection is conducted properly and shipment pass is issued as per buyer standards

  • Maintain and control DHU (Defects per Hundred Units) within acceptable limits

  • Ensure inspection pass rate (inline, end-line, final) meets company and buyer targets

  • Implement and monitor quality SOPs, standards, and procedures

  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)

  • Ensure product quality meets buyer specifications and compliance requirements

  • Coordinate with production team to resolve quality issues in real-time

  • Handle buyer audits, third-party inspections, and compliance audits

  • Monitor quality performance through reports, dashboards, and analysis

  • Develop and conduct training programs for QA team and operators

  • Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and record keeping

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality enhancement and defect reduction
