Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in HR & Administration, preferably in a large-scale manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience in maintaining HR records, attendance and general administrative coordination.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of HR and administrative processes and basic Bangladesh labor laws.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude, discipline, and commitment to organizational goals.
Responsibilities & Context: Position Purpose
To support the HR & Administrative functions of Jamuna Paper Mills Ltd. by assisting in day-to-day operations related to employee management, documentation, compliance, and general administrative support. The position aims to ensure efficient execution of HR policies, maintenance of employee records, and smooth coordination of administrative activities to contribute to the overall productivity and discipline within the factory.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing HR & administrative policies and procedures at the factory level.
- Maintain and update employee personal files, attendance records, and leave registers accurately.
- Support worker recruitment activities including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and joining formalities.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing attendance, overtime (if any) and leave data.
- Help in organizing training, performance evaluation and employee welfare programs.
- Monitor and record staff attendance, shift schedules and disciplinary matters in coordination with supervisors.
- Provide administrative support related to security, transport, housekeeping and canteen management.
- Prepare various HR and administrative reports as directed by the department head.
- Coordinate with different departments for HR & admin-related requirements and issue resolutions.
- Ensure proper maintenance of office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Assist in handling grievance and employee relation issues under guidance from senior management.
- Maintain liaison with external service providers such as security, housekeeping and local administration as when required.
- Support compliance activities, audits and inspections related to HR, safety, and labor regulations.
- Any other activities as and when required by management.

Internal: Operations, Production, Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, Compliance, Distribution, HR & Admin Team
External: Vendors/Contractors, Service Providers, Local Administration, and Government Agencies.
