Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in inventory or store management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Proven experience in cycle counting, inventory reconciliation and working with ERP inventory modules.
  • Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate across departments.
  • Capacity to multitask and perform under operational pressure.


Responsibilities & Context:

Position Purpose

To efficiently manage and support the factory’s store inventory operations, ensuring accurate and timely availability of raw materials, packaging supplies and spare parts. The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock integrity, and supporting production workflows with effective store management.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations including receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing materials and parts for production.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records; perform cycle counts and support physical audits to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels of critical items and coordinate with Procurement and Production teams to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss, damage and obsolescence.
  • Organize and optimize storage layout for efficient space utilization and enforce safety and housekeeping protocols in storage areas.
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing inventory records, facilitating counts and resolving variances.
  • Support and train store staff on standard operating procedures, safety standards and good material handling practices.
