Responsibilities & Context:

• Supervise production operations of 800T, 1000T, 1450T, and 2500T aluminium extrusion presses to ensure efficient execution of the production plan.

• Monitor and control key process parameters such as billet heating temperature, container temperature, and extrusion speed to maintain product quality and process stability.

• Identify and troubleshoot extrusion defects including pick-ups, streaks, and die lines, and take immediate corrective actions.

• Manage and coordinate shift manpower including operators and helpers to ensure smooth workflow and optimal machine utilization.

• Ensure proper operation of ageing ovens and monitor cycles to achieve required Webster hardness standards.

• Implement initiatives to reduce process scrap and rejection, improving overall production recovery and efficiency.

• Maintain accurate shift reports, production records, and ERP entries.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality procedures, and plant operating guidelines.
