Education:
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related discipline.
Additional certification in Cosmetic Formulation or Cosmetic Science will be an advantage.

Minimum product developed in skin care.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and formulate innovative skincare, haircare, toiletries, makeup, and personal care products.
Research new cosmetic ingredients, active materials, fragrances, colors, and formulation technologies.
Prepare laboratory samples, pilot batches, and production-scale formulations.
Conduct formulation stability, compatibility, preservative efficacy, and performance testing.
Develop new products and improve existing formulations for quality, performance, and cost optimization.
Ensure products comply with Bangladesh regulatory requirements, GMP, ISO standards, and international cosmetic safety guidelines.
Prepare Product Information Files (PIF), formulation sheets, specifications, SOPs, and batch manufacturing records.
Conduct raw material evaluation and approve alternative suppliers.
Support Quality Control during raw material, in-process, and finished product testing.
Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing departments during product development.
Stay updated with global cosmetic trends, ingredient innovations, and regulatory changes.
