• SSC/Vocational/Diploma or equivalent technical qualification.

• Technical training in injection moulding operation will be an advantage.

• Experience in PET preform, plastic cap, packaging or FMCG manufacturing will be preferred.

• Candidates with strong technical knowledge and relevant training may be considered based on competency.

1. Machine Operation: Operate injection moulding machines safely and efficiently according to approved operating procedures and production requirements.

2. Production Monitoring: Monitor machine performance, production output, cycle time, temperature, pressure and other operating parameters to ensure smooth production.

3. Process Parameter Control: Set and maintain appropriate machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, injection speed, cooling time, cycle time and other process settings as instructed.

4. Quality Control: Check produced preforms/caps/components for defects such as short shot, flash, black spot, deformation, dimensional variation, color variation and other quality abnormalities.

5. Material Handling: Ensure proper feeding and handling of approved raw materials such as PET/resin, masterbatch and other required materials while minimizing material loss and contamination.

6. Mould Management: Assist in mould installation, removal, cleaning, inspection and basic troubleshooting while ensuring proper mould handling and protection.

7. Machine Inspection & Basic Maintenance: Conduct routine machine inspections, lubrication and cleaning as per schedule and immediately report mechanical, electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic abnormalities to the Maintenance Team.

8. Production & Documentation: Maintain production records, machine parameters, downtime, rejection, wastage, material consumption and other required operational data accurately.

9. Safety & 5S: Follow all machine safety procedures, PPE requirements, 5S practices, housekeeping standards and emergency procedures within the production area.

10. Troubleshooting & Downtime Control: Identify common machine/process problems, take permitted corrective actions and coordinate with Maintenance, Quality and PPS teams to minimize downtime.

11. Shift Handover: Provide proper shift handover regarding machine condition, production status, quality issues, material balance, downtime and pending maintenance activities.

12. Production Target: Achieve assigned production targets while maintaining required quality, efficiency, material utilization and machine availability.

13. Waste & Rejection Control: Monitor and minimize production wastage, rejected products, start-up losses and material consumption through proper process control.

14. Coordination: Coordinate with PPS, Production, Quality Control, Maintenance, Warehouse and other relevant departments for uninterrupted production.
