Experience:
Master's Degree / Bachelor's Degree in Food Engineering, Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
Additional professional certifications in Food Safety and Quality Management will be considered an advantage.
Minimum 15-20 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Safety, or Manufacturing Quality Management.
At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role such as Head of QA, AGM QA, DGM QA, GM QA, or equivalent.
Experience in a reputed FMCG, food processing, beverage, confectionery, biscuit, bakery, dairy, or consumer goods manufacturing organization is mandatory.
Hands-on experience in managing large-scale manufacturing quality systems.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Expertise in HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, and Food Safety Management Systems.
Strong understanding of Bangladesh food regulations and international compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in root cause analysis tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple manufacturing locations.
Lead and manage the overall Quality Assurance (QA) function of the organization.
Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) across all manufacturing units.
Ensure compliance with local and international food safety, quality, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
Establish and maintain quality standards, policies, SOPs, quality objectives, and quality control procedures.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GHP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, and other relevant standards as applicable.
Drive food safety culture and quality excellence initiatives throughout the organization.
Oversee incoming raw material quality assurance, in-process quality control, finished goods inspection, and market complaint management.
Analyze quality trends, customer complaints, audit findings, and non-conformities and implement effective CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Lead internal audits, supplier audits, customer audits, certification audits, and regulatory inspections.
Collaborate closely with Production, R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
Monitor laboratory operations, testing protocols, calibration systems, and quality documentation.
Ensure product quality consistency and regulatory compliance for all product categories.
Lead risk assessment, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement projects.
Develop and mentor QA teams through training, performance management, and succession planning.
Prepare and present quality performance reports, KPIs, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
