Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline. A relevant academic background will be preferred.
Experience
7–10 years of relevant experience in Quality Management within the RMG/garment industry.
Minimum 7 years of experience, including managerial experience, in a large-scale knit, woven, and denim manufacturing facility.
Experience in a reputed and buyer-compliant garment manufacturing organization will be highly preferred.
Candidates with experience in a Group of Companies will be preferred.
Additional Requirements
Strong knowledge of garment quality control processes, quality standards, and inspection procedures.
Extensive experience in knit, woven, and denim garment manufacturing and quality management.
Strong knowledge of AQL, inline inspection, final inspection, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and team management skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Establish and maintain appropriate quality standards, specifications, and tolerances (AQL) for raw materials, production processes, and finished products in accordance with the Quality Manual and buyer requirements.
Ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Monitor the inspection of raw materials, fabrics, trims, and accessories, including relevant durability, color, and quality testing.
Monitor and control quality at all stages of production, including cutting, printing, embroidery, sewing, assembling, washing, finishing, and packing.
Supervise inline quality inspections and quantity checks against production orders and approved standards.
Identify quality deviations, recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
Monitor final/random inspections to ensure finished products meet required quality standards and buyer specifications.
Conduct regular quality meetings to review quality performance, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions in line with buyer requirements.
Monitor fabric inspection from the initial stage through to final shipment.
Identify quality-related training needs and arrange/coordinate appropriate training programs for the quality team.
Develop and enhance the technical capabilities of local quality personnel through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training.
Maintain effective communication and coordination with Production, Merchandising, Technical, and other relevant departments to ensure consistent product quality.
