Job Description

SEAM AGRO FOODS LTD is looking for a responsible and competent Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production activities for Bakery, Snacks, Drinks & Beverages, and Spices. The selected candidate will supervise production workers, monitor production processes, ensure production targets are achieved, maintain product quality and food safety standards, and ensure efficient use of manpower, raw materials, and machinery.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily production activities according to the approved production plan and schedule.

• Ensure daily production targets are achieved within the required time and quality standards.

• Supervise production processes for Bakery, Snacks, Drinks & Beverages, and Spices products.

• Ensure production activities follow approved recipes, formulations, SOPs, specifications, and quality requirements.

• Assign duties and supervise production workers according to production requirements.

• Monitor attendance, manpower utilization, work discipline, and performance of production workers.

• Monitor the availability and proper use of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and other production resources.

• Control material wastage and ensure efficient utilization of production resources.

• Monitor machinery and equipment during production and immediately report breakdowns or technical issues to the Maintenance team.

• Coordinate with QC/QA, Maintenance, Store, and other departments to maintain smooth production operations.

• Ensure proper implementation of GMP, food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.

• Ensure production areas, machinery, and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.

• Monitor production quality and immediately report any quality issues, deviations, or non-conformities.

• Assist in identifying production problems and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

• Maintain accurate production records, batch records, checklists, and shift reports.

• Prepare and submit daily shift/production reports to the Production Officer or management.

• Ensure proper handover of production status and pending issues between shifts.

• Support initiatives to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and increase operational efficiency.

• Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.

• Perform any other production-related duties assigned by the management.
