- Relevant experience in Leather / Leather Goods / Bags / Footwear Manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Experienced candidates from Garments Manufacturing with strong overall factory management experience may also be considered.
- Proven experience in managing overall factory operations and administration.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination and decision-making skills.
- Hands-on, disciplined, mature and result-oriented.
- Ability to work effectively with local and international management teams.
- Knowledge of Mandarin/Chinese will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to work at Katiadi, Kishoreganj.

Job Summary
GM Bag Industries Ltd. is looking for an experienced, mature and result-oriented General Manager (GM) to oversee the overall factory operations and administration.
The GM will be responsible for ensuring smooth, disciplined and efficient factory functioning through effective coordination among different departments and implementation of management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee overall factory operations, administration and workplace discipline.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager and other functional heads for smooth factory functioning.
- Manage HR, manpower planning, employee discipline and workforce efficiency.
- Monitor factory facilities, maintenance, utilities, stores and operational resources.
- Coordinate quality, compliance, safety and other operational requirements.
- Monitor operational costs, wastage and resource utilization.
- Identify operational issues and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Ensure effective inter-departmental coordination and communication.
- Lead and develop senior factory personnel and departmental teams.
- Monitor operational KPIs and provide regular reports to the MD/Management.
- Ensure proper implementation of company policies and management decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement in factory efficiency and overall operational performance.
