• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Packaging Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant work experience).

• Strong knowledge of corrugation, printing, die-cutting, and carton manufacturing processes.

• Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in production planning software and ERP systems is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily and weekly production based on order volume and delivery deadlines.

• Supervise the carton manufacturing process, including corrugation, printing, die-cutting, gluing/stitching, and packing.

• Monitor machine operations (corrugator, flexo printer, die-cutter, and folder-gluer) to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.

• Ensure production output meets quality standards, including box strength, print accuracy, and dimensional specifications.

• Coordinate with the Quality Control team for product inspection and rejection handling.

• Ensure the availability of raw materials (kraft paper, ink, and adhesive) by coordinating with the Stores and Procurement teams.

• Plan and allocate manpower, including shift scheduling for operators and helpers.

• Track, analyze, and report key production KPIs, including production output, wastage percentage, machine downtime, and overall efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, company policies, and factory regulations.

• Coordinate with the Sales and Dispatch teams to ensure the timely fulfillment of customer orders.

• Implement cost-control initiatives and waste-reduction measures to improve operational efficiency.

• Train, guide, and supervise production staff and machine operators to ensure safe and efficient operations.
