• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Leather Engineering, Industrial Engineering
• University of Dhaka,Khulna University of Engineering and Technology students will get preference

• At least 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Garments, Leather goods/ Footwear/ Tannery

• Age 30 to 45 years

• Strong leadership and team management capability.

• Sound knowledge of production planning and process control.

• Good understanding of productivity improvement and lean manufacturing concepts.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and production reporting.

Ventura Leatherware Mfy. (BD) Ltd, a 100% Export Oriented Enterprise located in Uttara EPZ, Nilphamari, is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional for the position of Assistant Manager – Production. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, leading, and optimizing production operations to achieve business objectives while ensuring product quality, operational efficiency, cost effectiveness, and on-time delivery. The role requires strong leadership, manufacturing expertise, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise production operations across assigned production floors to ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while maintaining required quality standards and on-time shipment.

• Monitor production KPIs including output, efficiency, quality, wastage, manpower utilization, and line balancing; analyze performance and implement corrective actions to improve operational excellence.

• Coordinate with Planning, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Production Engineering, Maintenance/TPM, Warehouse, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow and resolve operational challenges.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, 6S, Kaizen, and other productivity enhancement tools to optimize production capacity and reduce operational costs.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, buyer requirements, workplace safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements throughout production operations.

• Monitor workforce management including attendance, discipline, performance, coaching, training, and employee development to build a high-performing production team.

• Maintain accurate production reports, operational records, KPI dashboards, and communicate production updates with management and overseas stakeholders, including Chinese counterparts.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Production or Management.
