Experience:

• 5 to 7 years

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Technology, Polymer Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• Educational qualification may be relaxed for candidates with strong relevant hands-on experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Blown Film Extrusion Machines.

• Skilled in machine installation, commissioning, operation, parameter setting, and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of polymer raw materials, preventive/breakdown maintenance, quality control, and production safety.

• Ability to identify defects, solve technical problems, and achieve production targets.

• Experience in reputed plastic/polymer companies such as RFL, Akij, Meghna, or Leera Group will be highly preferred.Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

1.Blown Film Machine Installation & Commissioning

· Participate in the installation, commissioning, and trial production of blown film extrusion machines.

· Assist in machine alignment, equipment setup, utility connections, and initial machine testing.

· Understand machine components, operating systems, and production line configuration.

· Ensure machines are properly calibrated and ready for commercial production.

2. Production Operations

· Operate and monitor blown film extrusion machines efficiently and safely.

· Set and control key production parameters such as: Temperature Extrusion speed Air pressure Cooling air Die gap Bubble stability Take-up speed Film thickness.

· Handle different polymer materials such as LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE and other applicable PE grades.

· Maintain consistent production output according to required specifications.

· Minimize material wastage, production loss, downtime, and quality defects.

3. Machine Maintenance

· Perform preventive and routine maintenance of blown film machines and associated equipment.

· Identify mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related problems.

· Coordinate with the engineering/maintenance team for major repairs.

· Maintain proper records of machine maintenance and breakdowns.

· Monitor machine condition and take timely action to prevent unexpected breakdowns.

4. Troubleshooting

· Diagnose and resolve production and machine-related problems.

· Troubleshoot issues such as: Uneven film thickness Bubble instability Wrinkles Film breakage Die blockage Uneven cooling Temperature fluctuation Extrusion problems Poor film quality

· Identify the root cause of recurring machine and production problems and recommend corrective actions.

5. Quality Control

· Monitor film thickness, width, appearance, transparency, strength, and overall quality.

· Ensure production meets approved product specifications.

· Make necessary machine/process adjustments to maintain consistent quality.

· Coordinate with the Quality Control team regarding product defects and corrective actions.

6. Production & Maintenance Coordination

· Work closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality teams.

· Provide technical support during machine startup, shutdown and product changeover.

· Maintain production and machine-related documentation.

· Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies.
