SDPL Health and Hygiene Bangladesh Limited is looking for a Junior QC Chemist to join our Quality Control team on an urgent basis.

Our manufacturing facility produces Hand Wash, Dish Wash, Floor Cleaner, Glass Cleaner, Kitchen Degreaser, Air Freshener, Wet Wipes and Others Cleaning Item. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting quality checks of raw materials, in-process production batches, and finished products in accordance with approved formulations, specifications, and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify incoming raw materials against approved specifications and Certificate of Analysis (COA).

• Ensure approved formulations and specified quantities of raw materials are followed during production.

• Conduct routine laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

• Test relevant quality parameters such as pH, viscosity, specific gravity, Colour, fragrance, appearance, and other applicable parameters.

• Compare test results with approved specifications and maintain accurate test records.

• Ensure that finished products are not released to the warehouse or market without required QC approval.

• Prepare and maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), QC Test Reports, test records, and retain samples.

• Inspect filling volume/weight, packaging condition, sealing, leakage, labeling, and other relevant packaging parameters.

• Conduct quality checks of Wet Wipes, including lotion pH, moisture level, wipes weight/GSM, fragrance, and packaging seal.

• Conduct quality checks of Air Fresheners, including fragrance consistency, filling weight, spray performance, and leakage.

• Conduct stability testing and periodic quality observations as required.

• Identify and report any quality deviation, non-conformity, or abnormal test result to the concerned Production/QC management immediately.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the QC laboratory.

• Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of laboratory chemicals and materials.

• Maintain QC laboratory equipment and ensure that testing activities are performed properly.

• Follow company quality procedures, laboratory safety requirements, and good laboratory practices.
