The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets, which will meet the uprising demand in the local market and will also bring significant economic growth by exporting around the globe. We are seeking skilled professional to operate and monitor the LRF from the pulpit/control room at its SMS Plant. The role focuses on controlled refining, temperature and chemistry monitoring, and coordination with connected teams to ensure safe operations and steel readiness for casting.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the LRF from the pulpit/control room according to approved procedures to ensure stable refining operations.
Control heating, electrode movement, and argon stirring in line with refining requirements to maintain consistent treatment conditions.
Monitor steel temperature and chemical composition against heat requirements to verify readiness for subsequent processing.
Control alloy, ferroalloy, deoxidizer, and flux additions according to approved refining requirements to achieve the specified steel composition and quality.
Maintain proper slag conditions and refining practices by following approved process requirements to support consistent metallurgical quality.
Coordinate with EAF, CCM, laboratory, and alloy-handling teams through timely communication to ensure material availability and smooth heat progression.
Monitor alarms and abnormal conditions through control-room indications and coordinate appropriate responses to minimize process disruption and operational risks.
Maintain heat-wise refining records and ensure safe operation through accurate documentation and adherence to safety procedures to support traceability and protect personnel and equipment.
