Meghna Re-Rolling and Steel Mills Limited (MRSML), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries is established a top-notch steel factory in Bangladesh with the latest European technologies and machinery having a production capacity of 1.5 million MT per annum. The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets, which will meet the uprising demand in the local market and will also bring significant economic growth by exporting around the globe. We are seeking experienced professional to supervise EAF and LRF shift operations at its Steel Melt Shop (SMS) Plant. The role focuses on achieving production, quality, and heat-cycle targets through process monitoring, resource coordination, consumption control, and safe shift management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise EAF and LRF operations through shift coordination and process oversight to ensure smooth execution of production activities.

  • Ensure production, quality, and heat-cycle targets are achieved by reviewing shift progress and coordinating necessary operational adjustments.

  • Monitor melting, tapping, refining, temperature, and chemistry against approved process requirements to maintain stable operations and steel quality.

  • Coordinate with CCM, refractory, maintenance, laboratory, and raw-material teams through timely communication to ensure operational readiness and production continuity.

  • Monitor electrode, power, oxygen, alloy, and flux consumption through review of operating data to support efficient resource utilization.

  • Handle operational abnormalities and emergencies by following approved response procedures and coordinating corrective action to protect personnel and equipment and minimize disruption.

  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and housekeeping requirements through shift supervision and routine checks to maintain a safe and orderly workplace.

  • Prepare shift production and performance reports by compiling operating results and deviations to support performance review and operational follow-up.
