• Effective operational coordination and recordkeeping skills, with commitment to safe furnace operation.

The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets, which will meet the uprising demand in the local market and will also bring significant economic growth by exporting around the globe. We are seeking skilled professional to operate and monitor the EAF from the pulpit/control room at its SMS Plant. The role involves controlling melting parameters, monitoring furnace conditions, and coordinating with operating teams to maintain safe, stable furnace operation and required steel quality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor the EAF from the pulpit/control room in accordance with approved operating procedures to maintain safe and stable furnace operation.

• Control furnace power, electrode movement, and melting parameters according to process requirements to support consistent melting performance.

• Monitor oxygen, carbon injection, and slag formation against approved operating requirements to maintain appropriate melting and slag conditions.

• Control temperature, chemistry, and tapping parameters in line with heat requirements to achieve the required steel quality and tapping conditions.

• Monitor furnace alarms and hydraulic and electrical system indications through control-room displays to identify abnormalities and support timely corrective action.

• Coordinate with charging, tapping, LRF, and maintenance teams through timely operational communication to ensure smooth furnace activities and heat transfer.

• Maintain heat-wise operating records by documenting process data and deviations to ensure traceability and support performance review.

• Ensure safe and stable furnace operation by following safety procedures and reporting abnormal conditions to reduce operational risks and interruptions.
