Job Context:

Meghna Re-Rolling and Steel Mills Limited (MRSML), a concern of Meghna Group of Industries is established a top-notch steel factory in Bangladesh with the latest European technologies and machinery having a production capacity of 1.5 million MT per annum. The vision of this concern is to produce world-class re-rolling products and billets, which will meet the uprising demand in the local market and will also bring significant economic growth by exporting around the globe. We are seeking experienced professional to supervise complete CCM operations during the assigned shift at its SMS Plant. The role involves coordinating casting sequences, monitoring process and quality performance, and supervising operational transitions to ensure continuous, stable casting and safe shift operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise complete CCM operations through shift oversight and coordination of operating activities to maintain effective control of the casting process.

• Ensure continuous and stable casting by coordinating shift activities with the production plan to achieve scheduled output.

• Monitor casting speed, mould level, tundish temperature, and secondary cooling against process requirements to maintain casting stability and product quality.

• Coordinate with LRF/EAF through timely communication on ladle availability and sequence requirements to maintain continuity between steel supply and casting.

• Supervise ladle changes, tundish operations, and casting start/stop activities according to approved procedures to ensure safe and smooth operational transitions.

• Monitor breakout prevention measures and casting alarms through process surveillance and timely escalation to reduce casting interruptions and equipment risks.

• Coordinate with maintenance, refractory, and quality teams by communicating operating needs and abnormalities to ensure equipment readiness and product conformity.

• Monitor yield, downtime, and casting performance by reviewing shift operating data to identify losses and support performance improvement.

• Ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping standards through routine shift checks and compliance with operating requirements to maintain safe and orderly casting operations.
