Responsibilities & Context:
We are looking for an experienced, organized, and results-driven Production Manager to oversee our production operations and ensure an efficient flow from raw material planning to finished goods supply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, manage, and supervise day-to-day production operations
* Develop production schedules based on sales forecasts and market demand
* Ensure production targets are achieved within required timelines
* Monitor raw material requirements and ensure timely availability for production
* Coordinate procurement, inventory, warehouse, and supply chain activities
* Maintain optimum stock levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
* Monitor the complete production process to minimize waste, downtime, and production losses
* Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, and production capacity
* Coordinate finished goods availability with the sales and distribution teams
* Ensure timely supply and movement of products from production to warehouse and distribution
* Monitor inventory movement and prevent stock shortages or excess inventory
* Maintain product quality and ensure compliance with established production and quality standards
* Implement and maintain proper production, hygiene, safety, and operational procedures
* Supervise production staff and allocate daily responsibilities
* Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
* Coordinate with suppliers and relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted operations
* Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
* Maintain accurate production, inventory, wastage, and supply records
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and operational reports
* Ensure smooth coordination across Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, Distribution, and Supply Chain functions
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of FMCG production and supply chain operations
* Experience in production planning, inventory control, and warehouse coordination
* Strong leadership and team management capabilities
* Good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple operational functions efficiently
* Strong understanding of quality control and production efficiency
* Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
* Previous experience in FMCG manufacturing or production management is highly preferred
