Responsibilities & Context:

• Establish annual operating plans, production targets, budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the factory.

• Establish and implement systems to minimize process losses, wastage, rejection, downtime and production variance.

• Establish and promote a strong Food Safety and Quality Culture throughout the factory.

• Ensure implementation and maintenance of applicable systems and standards, including GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and other relevant standards.

• Ensure effective preventive maintenance of machinery, equipment and utilities and minimize breakdowns and operational downtime.

• Lead internal and external audits, identify areas of non-conformity and ensure timely implementation and closure of CAPA.

• Demonstrate strong experience in CAPEX management and commissioning of new equipment, machinery and manufacturing facilities.

• Ensure maximum availability and operational efficiency of production equipment, machinery, utilities and plant infrastructure.

• Ensure timely investigation and resolution of quality deviations, customer complaints, non-conformities and product-related incidents.
