• B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from any reputed university. Organic Chemistry will get preference.

• 6 to 10 years

• Age At least 28 years

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in API manufacturing will get preference.

• Sound knowledge of Chemical Synthesis, Laboratory Management, GMP Documentations, SAP on Material Management Module etc.

• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions

• Ability to work under stress

Healthcare Chemicals Limited (HCL), a sister concern of Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Limited, located in API Park, besides Dhaka-Chittagong Highway in Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj, envisions manufacturing world class pharmaceutical raw materials for the local and foreign markets. HCL would like to reduce dependency on foreign sourcing of raw materials for the pharmaceuticals industry and save valuable foreign currency of the country. HCL will manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and related key chemicals required for the pharmaceuticals industry.
Job Description/Responsibilities:

• Develop API processes and validate the synthesis of generic API molecules in the R&D lab while maintaining GLP.

• Perform synthesis in the R&D lab associated with team members to develop Generic APIs or to improve synthetic routes for existing APIs.

• Ensure successful transfer of the developed technology from the R&D lab to the Pilot plant.

• Perform small-scale (HVP) production in pilot plant associated with Pilot Plant Persons according to market demand.

• Ensure proper R&D materials management (Intermediates, solvents, reagents) for smooth execution of API processes.

• Ensure the exhaust system of all fume hoods is properly working while lab, equipment & supporting utilities are in good functional order at any time.

• Prepare/Review system & GMP related SOPs and other required documents as and when required.

• Communicate with the concerned personnel of Factory & Head Office for the follow-up and expedite the work in a friendly way.

• Ensure cGMP & EHS in the working area.

• Stay abreast of new trends & innovations in the field of API.
