Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized university.

A postgraduate qualification or professional certification in supply chain, logistics or warehouse management is an advantage.

Experience and Technical Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in warehousing, distribution or 3PL operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role leading a large warehouse or distribution center.

Proven hands-on experience managing a barcode-driven WMS warehouse, including RF/handheld scanning and transaction controls (essential).

Experience in high-volume FMCG distribution and multi-shift operations (strongly preferred).

Sound understanding of inventory control, batch traceability, stock reconciliation, replenishment and dispatch planning.

Demonstrated experience managing large operational teams and outsourced manpower in Bangladesh.

Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze WMS reports, productivity data and operational KPIs.

Experience implementing, stabilizing or improving WMS operations (advantage).

Good verbal and written communication in both Bangla and English.

Willingness to work on-site and flex for shift operations and peak business requirements

Operations

Lead end-to-end depot operations: receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, staging, dispatch and returns.

Ensure disciplined use of barcode scanning and WMS transactions across all activities, keeping physical stock aligned with system records.

Plan daily and shift-wise workloads, manpower, material handling equipment and dock capacity to meet dispatch commitments and manage peak volumes.

Performance and Inventory Control

Monitor order fulfilment, picking accuracy, inventory accuracy, truck turnaround time, labour productivity and operational costs, and take timely corrective action on gaps.

Maintain accurate bin, pallet, SKU and batch records, and ensure FIFO/FEFO stock rotation where applicable.

Lead cycle counts and physical stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure stock adjustments follow the required approval process.

Identify and resolve bottlenecks (picking delays, replenishment gaps, scanning exceptions, dispatch backlogs) together with the customer and WMS support teams.

People Leadership

Lead supervisors, WMS operators, inventory teams and outsourced manpower with clear accountability, effective shift handovers and structured training.

Coordinate with manpower suppliers to maintain attendance, skill coverage and workforce discipline.

Customer and Stakeholder Management

Serve as the principal site contact for the customer, giving accurate performance updates and realistic commitments, and escalating risks promptly.

Safety, Compliance and Improvement

Maintain warehouse safety, housekeeping, product segregation and equipment discipline, and keep the site ready for customer and internal audits.

Drive continuous improvement through Lean, 5S and Kaizen to reduce unnecessary movement, handling, overtime and product damage.
